Required session storage holds the launch plan and protects form submissions. Its HTTPS session cookie is host-only, Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. Separate interface cookies remember your preference choice and a dismissed welcome window.

With permission, the browser remembers first and second paddler weights, carried gear and available length. Without permission, that optional entry is neither read nor written. Withdrawing permission removes it without deleting the necessary active order.

The saved order includes selected equipment, capacity inputs, contact details and a total. Card fields are unnamed browser controls and do not form part of the submitted order record. Newsletter permission is recorded separately with the email and time.
